Even though I live in San Francisco, which is the official capital of adult costume enthusiasts, I’ve never been a huge fan of dressing up (what’s the Halloween version of bah humbug? haha …). I do love seeing everyone else’s creative getups, so I look forward to the people watching and pics this weekend. And, I’m sure I’ll eat some candy! I’m always amazed at how many “tips” there are for how to be healthy on Halloween … low sugar and vegan candy, equivalency guides for how much you’ll need to work out to work off a mini Snickers, and the list goes on. My approach? Calm down and enjoy the real deal, but in moderation. There’s room in any healthy lifestyle for a little holiday indulgence.
