The Friday Stretch: a ‘Shroom-y Breakfast Bowl, Uptown Abs, Leggings for Climbers, Ballerina Inspo

This week was pretty low-key. Tim was out-of-town and I was on my own with a post-operative pup (doggie ACL surgery — poor Enzo), so in addition to my tennis and workouts, I spent a lot of time at home with the ‘Zo reading, writing, thinking about a possible business venture, and doing some work for a client. A special highlight: a long, sunny morning run with my sister, followed by a yummy, veggie-packed green fritatta that we enjoyed al fresco (did you know it’s SF’s summer right now?)…

But enough about my week. It’s Friday and here’s some of the fitness & wellness content that inspired me.

Have a great weekend!

I love savory food in the AM, so looking forward to making this healthy mushroom breakfast bowl this weekend.

In a rut with your ab routine? Channel your inner gymnast and try this one. I did it the other day for fun, and … owwww.

Into rock climbing or just in awe of climbers? Check out the So iLL line of leggings …each pair features a subtle climbing-themed pattern, like ropes, holds and carabiners. So original.

Misty Copeland of the American Ballet Theater has become such an inspiring role model for minority young women, so I’m excited to watch the documentary about her life (so far), which is available starting this week on iTunes.
